Mike Quirke, is a London based artist, working from St Patrick’s Studios in Wapping. Mike studied at Chelsea School of Art and Goldsmith College and has many years experience working in art and art education.
In 2015 he was invited to join the team of artists working on Westminster Cathedral’s Way of Mercy Stations contributing two paintings – the Merciful Father and the Conversion of St Paul. Both paintings are now on permanent loan to parishes in the diocese of Westminster.
Recent exhibitions have included the Royal Academy 250th Summer Show, and exhibitions at Husk Creative Space, Wapping Open Studios, and St Michael’s Arts Festival.
Mike recently completed a commission for the Apostolic Nuncio to Great Britain Archbishop Edward Joseph Adams. He is currently engaged in a number of commissions for parishes in Westminster and curated an exhibition of works at Our Lady of Dolours, Servite Church in Chelsea.
