Lucinda Metcalfe

Lucinda’s vivid paintings are inspired by places we recognise from holiday brochures and advertisements but her work has a melancholy edge, which disrupts our escapist longings. Lucinda exhibits regularly in London and beyond, including a recent solo show at Lemba Gallery, Cyprus. Group exhibitions include the London Art Fair; the Hampstead ‘Affordable Art Fair; the Royal Overseas League and ‘Multiplied’ at Christie’s. She was a contestant in ‘Landscape Artist of the Year’ shown on Sky Arts. Lucinda lives in Whitechapel and works from Wapping. She also currently teaches Diploma Art to International Students in central London.
